Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal proudly partnered with the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality for their Investment Conference in October. Themed; “Driving Sustainable Growth Through Strategic Investments,” the conference aimed to enhance the economic growth of the South Coast municipality by creating a conducive environment for investment opportunities and infrastructure development.

In her keynote address, Ray Nkonyeni Mayor, Cllr Zodwa Mzindle, said that the conference was a “Pivotal opportunity for us to unite in our commitment to harnessing the power of investment as a catalyst for sustainable economic development in our region.”

Speaking in the opening session, TIKZN CEO Sihle Ngcamu highlighted major economic successes in the region and emphasised the opportunities that are yet to be explored to further bolster development in the region.

On day two of the conference, the TIKZN’s Executive Manager for Strategy and Operations, Thulisile Galelekile participated in a panel discussion on public infrastructure development as an enabler of economic growth and strategic investment.
