This appointment, effective from 1 October 2023, comes after the departure of the former CEO Mr Neville Matjie on 30 September 2023. The Board extends its deepest gratitude to Mr Matjie for his leadership at the helm of TIKZN over the past five years, and for a total 20 years of diligent service.
Mr Ngcamu brings a wealth of executive management experience to this role. He joined TIKZN in 2016 as the Executive Manager for Investment Promotion, responsible for destination marketing, investment targeting and facilitation, as well as business retention and expansion. Mr Ngcamu has significant experience in both the private and public sector, having worked for government entities such as Richards Bar Industrial Development Zone, and BHP Billiton.
We believe that his commitment to our organisationâs vision and mission makes him the ideal candidate to guide us through this transition period. TIKZN looks forward to continuing to work with our stakeholders to drive trade and investment in KwaZulu-Natal, under Mr Ngcamuâs leadership.
